Before using PinMeTo, Borås Stad struggled with inconsistent and outdated information on various digital platforms. This inconsistency led to confusion among residents and visitors trying to access accurate information about municipal facilities such as schools, libraries, and parks.
Incorrect location details not only frustrated visitors but also negatively impacted the municipality’s brand, as inaccurate data on external platforms was beyond their direct control.
Decentralized Management of Location Data
Each department within Borås Stad managed its own facilities independently, leading to variations in how location information was updated and maintained. This decentralized approach required a system that could accommodate multiple users while ensuring that all data remained accurate and consistent.
We noticed that a lot of our information was incorrect. People had the wrong contact numbers, among other things. We saw a problem, tested the solution, and realized that PinMeTo was a good fit for us.

With over 12 users managing different aspects of the municipality’s digital presence, PinMeTo’s Listings tool provided a unified platform for all departments to collaborate effectively. Initially, we had a few challenges with the bulk verification process, but once we got through that, everything was seamless. PinMeTo’s support has been very helpful.
